New heavy duty curtain rail fitted on a pelmet board for a bay window in Hammersmith – by FITT E R I N D

Today we replace upgrade an existing curtain track from medium to heavy duty. Our customer rang in frustrated with their existing curtain rail quoting that “the cords wont pull and have snapped”. On inspection we identified that the existing rail was not fit these super heavy interlined curtains and had been mis fitted.

We suggested we upgrade to a heavy duty curtain rail from Integra corded on both sides to even pulling distribution. Measured to the mm to ensure the rail fits just right in the pelmet board. A couple of cm wrong can really make or break a situation like this but thankfully we have many years under our belt in supplying and fit bay window rails of all shapes and sizes.

Customer was really impressed with the result and found the new rail to be a much “smoother ride”.  And is now considering replacing all the tracks in the property for greater peace of mind.

Good day. Good job. Good result.

How to make & fit a pelmet board and dress in matching fabric – FITT ERIND supply and fit in South West London

Today we enjoy making and fitting a set of pelmet boards and track to hang stunning pinch pleat curtains. Our customer in Clapham Town SW11 requested that we make and fit some pelmet boards to match with her newly ordered curtains. So we took this opportunity to demonstrate how we put our work together in our workroom.

This process is truly enjoyable for us as we get to spend some time indoors rather than chasing traffic all day in the heat of London’s South West streets. We make the most of these occasions by throwing some music to sing along to whilst focusing on the task at hand. It is really rewarding to create a beautiful piece of soft furnishing that will soon be a key feature in a room.

Once work is made we go ahead and install the pelmet together with corded and uncorded rails spaced just right to hang a pair of curtains with enough room to open and shut. As we finish our fitting duties, we are pleased to notice that our customer is thrilled with the outcome. Its a small difference made but yet one that matters in its own special way.
